Muggy and muddy field day

The third day of the field trip: sun, finally! We packed up our day packs and headed out into the field. It was muggy and the day just got hotter and hotter. It was also Nick’s first field experience, which was quite adorable. He wore jeans and a long sleeve shirt.  Every one of us got all sorts of muddy at the first site. We got lunch at a noodle restaurant and went to another site where they had pulled a jacket out of in a previous year, but we found nothing. The next site, Graveyard Hills, yielded much more. Eggs had been found here before and we were on a search to find them. And we did. We found eggshell at two separate places before we called it a day and headed back to the hotel.
